Margaret Moran Browder

Maggie is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, 2010, and received her B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, magna cum laude, in 2004.

Maggie's practice focuses on the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other medical facilities in both the state and federal courts. Prior to joining Sloane and Walsh, Maggie was an associate at a mid-sized Boston civil litigation firm, where her practice centered on the area of product liability and toxic torts defense. Maggie also has experience developing and litigating direct recovery actions based on the federal civil RICO statute related to civil conspiracy and healthcare fraud on behalf of insurance carriers. While in law school, Maggie was an executive editor on the Connecticut Public Interest Journal, interned for Federal Magistrate Judge Marianne B. Bowler, of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and represented low-income criminal defendants in the University of Connecticut School of Law Criminal Appellate Clinic.
