Jessica L. Bowen

Ms. Bowen's practice focuses on medical malpractice defense, specifically, the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other medical facilities.  Prior to joining Sloane and Walsh, LLP, Ms. Bowen worked as a trial attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services, representing indigent clients in all stages of criminal defense matters in Plymouth County.

Ms. Bowen earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2014.  While at Suffolk, Ms. Bowen served as a Lead Articles Editor on the Moot Court Honor Board, Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy.  She also served as a S.J.C. Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney for the Suffolk Defenders Program.

While at Suffolk, Ms. Bowen received the Legal Practice Skills Best Brief Award and the Carol DiMaiti Scholarship.

Prior to and during law school, Ms. Bowen worked as a paralegal at a small Boston law firm, working with attorneys on civil and criminal cases.
